The Actor’s Studio
Tuesday, November 1st, 2011
I was driving through Los Angeles yesterday when I saw a sign for the Actor’s Studio. It is a class for actor’s to take in order to improve their acting skills. You know, things like smiling and fake laughing and reading words on a page without stuttering or mis-pronouncing them. The advertisement claim that lots of series regulars trained there, including William Russ, from Boy Meets World. I was really intrigued by this, as I love that show. I thought for a long time about the class. Should I do this? Should I enroll? Then I decided… Yes, I should! So I got out of my car, very concentrated, so as to make a good impression on the acting coach, and headed towards the door. I almost tripped on the way in, I was so nervous. But when I got inside, the coach wasn’t even in there. Still, I was excited, so I filled out the form. Now that’s saying a lot, because I really am not a form person.
