Is there a book you can buy, which is like a dictionary for the health of food and drink?
I'm wanting to buy some health supplements, as protein shakes and powders sold in health food stores and honest is like reading Chinese sometimes. I do not know what is good and what is not so good. I want to know if there a book out there that I can buy that defines the ingredients found in health products, a book that is written specifically for health food and drinks. I will need a book that not only defines what is the ingredient, but also explains a little what it is and how my body needs it or something along those lines. I prefer a book you can buy in a store and not online, if possible. Please let me know if you have any idea what I'm talking about and whether such things exist. Thanks beforehand! =)
You can always check as a Borders bookstore or Barnes and Noble, or you can go to the source and talk to someone at GNC. These types are usually quite knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction.
