I tried to convince friends to listen online audio books. This is not really different from reading a regular book, except that the voice of another person does the reading for you. Apparently, the change from 'traditional book' to a CD or mp3 has resulted in a large group of skeptics who doubt that we can appreciate truly a novel to hear, rather than physically reading. Curiously, it is actually young people who are hardest to convince to give it a try.
Because my grandmother had grown up listening to stories told on the radio was more than willing to listen to audio books online – in fact, found that it is a pleasure to could sit back, not your cross stitch, or do gardening, while she listens to the recordings. Audio books have long existed, in fact, many of our grandparents grew up listening to the British Broadcasting Company, with its classic series. Mass promotion technology has boosted the audio book format online at the reach of consumers who eagerly embraced the development. It was in early 1960, when the introduction of the recorder portable cassette allows for ease of use. This coincided with the growing popularity of the quest for self-improvement. This type of recordings, with emphasis on instructional or educational issues, it became very popular. Self-help Audio-books were well and truly in vogue and the initiative was expanded to include audio books on a wide variety of general topics, such as the humanities.
Audio recordings of the book was even greater and faster market was created by adapting people who want to rent popular titles. Listening to audio books on line became an industry of several billion dollars and producers helped the industry grow by introducing high-quality recordings made with large casts of voices.
Today, the concept of audio books has taken cutting edge technology that has made the product even more accessible to the public audience than ever before. The wide variety of products available can now be easily downloaded from the web and its formats incorporated into any digital listening devices like cell phones, MP3 players and iPods. In view of the modern and tools edge, it is likely that young people today could even have an appreciation of an author of classics such as Jane Austen or William Shakespeare.
This is Ironically, the advent of online audio book has not completely replaced books printed version, but has only highlighted the joy of the books in general.
